Tuesday was my birthday! I turned the big 2-8.

We had lunch with Brad & Sarah, who graciously decided NOT to publicly embarrass me by singing happy birthday because they KNEW that I would return the favor. For dinner, Hannah, Aaron & I went to the Green Papaya in Dallas. That’s where Aaron took me for our first date, so we like to go back there every now and then. And Hannah actually had some Vietnamese food that she liked! Woohoo!

So what gifts did I get? Well, I got some jewelry from Brad & Sarah, Stacy and Phil & Tiff got me gift cards, and Hannah got me some clothes. She also bought me 6 mini-bundt cake pans! The Sheppards had gotten me 3 mini bundt cakes from “Nothing Bundt Cakes” (which by the way, are INCREDIBLE!), so we were talking about how to make them, and she found some pans from Crate & Barrel! They are so cute!

So Aaron’s gifts for me came in the mail this week. He got me some sweet stainless steel pots & pans from Rachael Ray as well as some super cute yellow casserole dishes. Aaron’s family also got me a necklace, some cute lounge pants (which I will be wearing all winter long) and some cool-smelling candles! And an upgrade to Lightroom 2, which is always nice.

But the gift that we (yes, WE) are most excited about?

The Nikon D300. With 51 points of focus.
