I am … a lion in the jungle. I am the king over all creatures.

Okay, my jungle is the back yard. But I don’t like that big, dumb creature over there.

So silly and juvenile. Always drooling. So unsanitary. Always eats my grass. I don’t care how “cute” she is.

I shall enjoy my owners being on vacation next week. Perhaps finally, I shall get some peace within my kingdom.
What? I shall have house-sitters? BAH! I am smarter and cleaner than them! They shall never see me. Except when I am hungry or thirsty, or when my magnificent mane needs some grooming attention. Then, I shall meow as if it were my last meow. They shall hear me roar, and be completely at my service.
As for the dog, she shall be my servant, my slave, my squire. She may be big and dumb, but she has this innate desire to please. I shall reward her with the flick of my tail in her face as I walk away.

If Anthropologie and and a gourmet restaurant had a baby, it would be Tillman’s Roadhouse. We went there last night with our fellow foodies James & Cassie, and it was unbelievable.
The restaurant is located in uber-cool Bishop Arts District in South Dallas, and the first thing that blows your mind is the decor. Who knew that vintage would go with steak?

Oh, the details were so yummy! I wish I could have taken more pictures, but I was hungry and had to put my camera away in exchange for the menu.

The food was amazing (of course), but my favorite part was dessert, which was an order of their Table Side Smores. That’s right! 3 types of homemade marshmallows, homemade chocolate, cinnamon graham crackers and a mini-bonfire right at our table! You can imagine the glee that Aaron had (he LOOOOOVES fire!).

HIGHLY recommend this place!
