Yes, my friends – my bank account is going to suffer greatly because of this new juicy delight! It’s a perfect accessory to summer shorts, tank tops and flip flops.

I give you Jamba Juice’s new Blackberry Bliss. I order it in the kiddie size – it’s the perfect amount for me! I got it last night to go with dinner, and by 10:00 pm, I was craving it again! Not goooooood … but soooooo goooooooood.

As Aaron and I get “older” (yes, I am at the ripe old age of 28, gasp – whatever!), we are really starting to appreciate the people in our lives. What started out as having friends for the sake of having friends has now turned into us really having to be wise about the company we keep. Why? Because we’re human! We fail and falter. We do stupid things.

Just a couple of weeks ago, us girls had one last “girls” night before Jenny gave birth. And while we were hanging out at her parents’ house, her mom told us such a wonderful story about how she has had a group of core friends who have supported each other through thick and thin for the last 30 years. Even when they all started having children and moving away, they still kept in touch. And now, while some are becoming grandparents and others are facing health issues, there is never a question that they are there for each other. And she really encouraged us that hopefully, we would have that same bond with one another.

Aaron has known Scott for 8-9 years now. They both went to CFNI together, lived together before getting married, helped each other through the ups and downs of life. I remember complementing Jenny on her earrings the first night I met her. And I still remember where we were when Scott told us he had proposed. We got married at the same place they did, just a few months after them because I liked it so much when we went for their wedding. They helped us paint and move into our first home. We helped them repaint their apartment after they moved out. And now, they are the first ones out of our little group of friends to bust out some offspring.

Born 6:51 pm tonight. 8.6 lbs. 20.75 in. BIG boy for such a tiny mommy! Scott’s nose and Jenny’s temperament! And of course, some of her mother’s “core” friends were there to celebrate with them. Because that’s what friends do for each other.

Excuse the iPhone quality. Better pictures are coming!
