It’s that time of year again!

Every summer, the Women’s Department at church throws an event called Laugh! ‘Cuz laughter is good for the soul, no? :) This year, the theme was summer fun and vacation! And because my fabulous friend and former client Elisa was in charge, there were details galore for me to drool over.

Now, if I took your picture at the photo booth afterwards, here is more information:

Each picture will have a file name associated with it for identification purposes. Please send me an email at natashabrownphotography@gmail.com to request a copy of your picture. PLEASE DO NOT RIGHT-CLICK AND SAVE THE PICTURE TO YOUR COMPUTER. I worked hard on these, and doing so will only get you a low-quality picture. At least let me do you the courtesy of emailing you the high-quality version! :)

You may notice that I did not crop any of the pictures. I did that on purpose. I know that 99% of these will end up on Facebook, where cropping is an option, so I wanted to give you more to work with. Crop away!

As always, the Women’s Department paid for all of your pictures so that they would be at no cost to you. Give them a big hug the next time you see them.

I know that most of you may be inclined to be harsh towards the way you look in your picture. Don’t be. These are meant to remind you of a great night with lots of friends and laughter. This world already has enough hardships as it is – let’s go easy on ourselves and remind each other that there is nothing more beautiful than laughter.

… then I may have taken your picture at the photo booth!

Many of you inquired about how to get a copy of your picture, so here’s the dealio: The Women’s Department at Gateway Church has graciously and generously paid for all of your pictures. Once I’m through editing all of them, I will upload them to a gallery and provide more specific information here on my website. Each photo will be numbered, so all you have to do is shoot me an email, let me know which picture you’d like, and I will email it to you! The image will be a high-resolution JPEG: small enough to email but large enough for decent quality. There will also be an announcement made via my Facebook and Twitter accounts.

So until then, I hope you are recovering from laughing so much. I know I am! And of course, here’s a teaser image from the always amazing Kerri Pomarolli with her husband Ron.

Happy Friday!

Here’s another behind-the-scenes look at a conference at Gateway Church. Pink Impact is the largest conference we have every year. I mean, c’mon … when you get a bunch of women together, it is BOUND to grow exponentially if it’s a great experience! I have heard nothing but stellar things about this year, and if you had a chance to attend, I’m sure you’ll agree!

The tech guys worked non-stop from Monday morning through Sunday night last week. Actually, probably even longer than that since they had to build the stage design before the conference began. I don’t know how they did it. No wonder why Brandon looked like this when I arrived on Thursday evening.

Just kidding! This was staged. Kinda. Sorta. Maybe. Ish. ANYWAY, here’s Kyle checking out the service worksheet on his new iPad.

Jason: Front of House Engineer.

My bestie Meredith, enjoying her first Pink Impact! She usually works on the tech team, but she caught a break this year!

Valerie miking up the MCs.

Phil showing me every time he had to open the “magic door.”

Steven & Josh.

She rocked her pink scarf!

David directs all the cameras during the service. Oooooo, shiny buttons!

Ruben controls the robotic cameras on stage. Not playing Mario Kart like I originally suspected.

This guy is the shader. Meredith explained what that meant, but I did not get it.

Phil in action!
